About the Company

IBK Lockerud Mariestad, with roots dating back to the early 1980s, is one of Sweden's oldest and most prestigious floorball clubs, covering men's, women's, and junior teams. The club has a total of 18 Swedish Championship medals at the senior level, including five gold for men and four for women. It is clear that Lockerud has been successful for many years. In addition to elite activities, the club equally values a strong and broad foundation in its own youth activities.

As our current club manager moves on to new challenges, we are looking for a successor who wants to lead, develop, and strengthen our operations – both sports-wise and organizationally.

Job Description

As the club manager, you are the hub of the association; you keep the day-to-day operations together, build collaborations, and are the face of Lockerud.

In this role, you will also create context and direction for the entire association. You coach both our employees and all the fantastic volunteers who keep the operations running. Together with the board, you are responsible for the club's finances, budget, and planning, ensuring that both the present and the future are in balance.

You build and develop collaborations, create new revenue opportunities, and actively work to strengthen our brand, both in the arena and in our social channels. You plan and manage our operations and ensure that everything from large events to administrative routines runs smoothly.

You are responsible for developing and maintaining the core activities for youth and seniors together with the sports manager. In short – you make it possible for more people to play, grow, and thrive in our association.

The position is full-time and based at NOVAB Arena.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with leadership experience who enjoys helping people grow. You have good financial knowledge and are responsible for budget and performance tracking while actively contributing to developing the club's revenues. We prefer candidates with experience in projects, events, or organizational development. Your creativity and ability to use social media to create engagement is a significant plus.

You enjoy working closely with people, and networking comes naturally to you. We place great importance on you being a driving communicator who creates clarity and engagement. You ensure that dialogue flows smoothly between all levels of the association so that everyone feels included and works towards the same vision.

Experience in sports or non-profit organizations is advantageous, but above all, we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in an association that means a lot to many.
